"We are All Monkeys" is a performance by Bjørn Venø, inspired by his personal experiences and beliefs. Throughout his life, Venø has experienced a duality in his personality: one part introverted and confined within his own mind, and the other extroverted, wishing to inspire and challenge people.

He strongly feels that society lacks many spaces where individuals can explore and play without the aid of alcohol, narcotics, or the need to maintain a mask of socially acceptable behavior. Venø believes that artists can create a liberating environment of play and exploration that can inspire thought and development.
